My experience at autoSense as a student

My name is Saloni and I study political science at the University of Zurich. For five weeks I worked at autoSense as an HR assistant and in the marketing team.
During this time I discovered a lot about the world of digital marketing and business as a whole. But not only did I improve my skills and understanding about marketing and business, I also learned what it means to be part of a startup.
One of the best aspects of working in a startup is that it gives you the opportunity to work in a solid and motivating environment. I realized that at autoSense, each team member contributes individually and in different ways, but ultimately everyone works together as a team. Constant communication was always present through weekly meetings or quick hallway conversations.
Creativity and innovation are at the heart of the mindset at autoSense, and thus the work culture is also based on positive relationships that foster development and productivity. When I had questions or needed help, the team was always there to help and support me. I found it very easy to work with the team, as everyone can be relaxed one moment and focused the next.
I always wanted to help people in some way through my work, and autoSense offered me just that opportunity. Working at autoSense made me realize that it feels good to be involved in important company decisions and to help shape new ideas.
All in all, it was very interesting to learn from the autoSense team.A lot of knowledge they shared with me I could never have gained in an academic course. I have been oriented to a real work environment, which will really help me in my future career.
