With tips, score and challenge in the community: the autoSense app provides playful support for sustainable driving.
With the driveScore feature in the app, autoSense supports sustainable driving: playfully, simply and clearly. A personal overview in the app shows the total score, which is based on all past trips and driving behavior. The smiley illustrates the current score.
For autoSense , sustainability is at the heart of its mission. Since 2021, autoSense has enabled its users to offset the CO2 emissions of their car journeys directly in the app. In 2022, more than 10,000 tons of CO2 were offset in this way.
In addition, autoSense also supports sustainable driving in a fun, simple and descriptive way through the driveScore.
How does it work exactly: The driveScore uses the sensor data collected by the autoSense adapter installed in the vehicle to analyze each individual trip. This data includes mileage, acceleration and speed.
Performance on each ride is represented on a scale from 0 to 100 in the form of a score. The crucial metrics for calculating this score are smooth acceleration and braking, and careful cornering. A higher driveScore thus represents a safer, more efficient and more sustainable driving style.
Users also have the opportunity to track the development of their driving style over time. They can compare themselves with the autoSense community and receive valuable tips on how they can further improve their driving style and be more efficient on the road.
Good to know: From 23 October autoSense starts the driveScore Challenge of the cantons!
The autoSense driveScore Challenge is an exciting new initiative from autoSense that aims to raise awareness of safe driving and encourage drivers to improve their driving behavior. All participants drive for their favorite canton and collect points for the best score, the maximum driveScore.
